Description
The purpose of the cooling system; to remove the excess heat in the engine, the engine to the most efficient heat as soon as possible to keep it at that temperature. Regardless of the ideal operating conditions, the cooling system must operate the engine at the most efficient temperature. As the fuel burns in the engine, approximately 1/3 of the energy in the fuel is converted to work. The other 1/3 is discharged from the exhaust as unburned fuel and the remaining 1/3 is converted into heat energy.
There are two main types of cooling system; Liquid Cooling and Air Cooling.
The task of the heating system; to provide the necessary temperature in cold winter months and to ensure the health, safety and comfort of the occupants. This heating operation is carried out with the heating systems used in the vehicles.
