CARDOFIX 10 mg/160 mg film-coated tablet It is taken orally.

• Active ingredients: 13.87 mg amlodipine besylate and 160 mg valsartan equivalent to 10 mg amlodipine base in each film-coated tablet

CARDOFIX is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) in patients whose blood pressure cannot be adequately controlled with a drug containing amlodipine or valsartan alone. If high blood pressure persists for a long time, it can destroy blood vessels in the brain, heart, and kidneys and lead to stroke, heart failure, or kidney failure. Lowering blood pressure to a normal level reduces the risk of developing these disorders.
