Description

Lacquer is a very glossy furniture polish. It is a chemical material. It can be colored or colorless. The Chinese first used lacquer. It started to be used in Europe in the 1600s. The smooth appearance of the lacquer application transforms the wood into a magnificent piece of furniture. The thickness of the lacquered door leaf, which is prepared using a 6 mm thick MDF panel and a 30 mm thick rib, is 42 mm (6 mm + 30 mm + 6 mm = 42 mm). Side spars are obtained from solid spruce or fir wood that is resistant to moisture between 10% and 14%. A honeycomb filling made of air-perforated Kraft paper is placed on this frame with reinforced lock and hinge areas. Lacquered door leaf is prepared in 90×209 cm dimensions. However, lacquered doors can be produced in desired dimensions as room and WC doors. Depending on the model and pattern alternative, it is possible to produce with frame glass, cage glass, single wing or double wing in the desired width. There is priming and paint on the basis of the lacquered door. The most important stages in the production of lacquered doors are priming and sanding.
