In blister packs containing 90 coated tablets.
Usage:
The average dose is 225-300 mg (3-4 tablets) per day. It should preferably be taken 1 hour before meals.
Indications:
Secondary prophylaxis of cerebrovascular events, in combination with anticoagulants in prosthetic valves, is indicated in chronic coronary heart disease and pharmacological stress testing.
Contraindications:
It has no known contraindications.
Warnings:
Dipyridamole is not effective in preventing acute anginal attacks, but angina pectoris attacks decrease or disappear completely during dipyridamole treatment. Care should be taken before using dipyridamole in myocardial infarction cases with blood pressure drop or collapsing, and necessary controls should be performed. It should not be used with aspirin. It should not be used together with hypotensives as it may cause peripheral vasodilation in excessive doses. It should not be used in patients with hypotension. The safety of use in children younger than 12 years has not been determined. It should be used in pregnant women in case of absolute need. Especially in the first trimester, the risk/benefit relationship should be well evaluated. It passes into milk, it should be used with caution in nursing mothers.
