Description
It is a ribbon type that provides general purpose thermal transfer in an economical way. While printing on paper-based (coated, vellum, fluorescent, fragile, etc.) labels, they reduce the cost of printing with their affordable prices. Almost all of the other labels, except plastic-based labels, can be printed with this ribbon.
It contains carbon, some chemicals, resin and wax.
Wax Ribon
Barcode labels, price labels, shipping labels, temporary tickets; It can be used in areas such as ID card printing, product feature labels. Wax ribbons can print at a lower temperature and higher speed than wax-resin and resin ribbons. They have low resistance against external factors and chemical solvents such as alcohol.
Wax ribbons cannot be used on barcode printers (such as Toshiba Tec and Avery Dennison industrial printers) using near edge (45 degree inclined) heads. With these ribbons, only printers using flat head can be printed.
